Happy Tuesday!! When I first dreamt of starting this blog several years ago, one of the topics I wanted to include was to regularly feature a new brand or designer that I adore. As I’ve noted above, there are affiliate links within this article for other items, but I do not receive affiliate income for the h.huna brand that I am highlighting below. I adore this brand and what they stand for and I hope you will too!
Moving on! Today’s blog post and Try It On Tuesday is all about a brand out of the UK called h.huna. Siobhan is the talented woman behind this brand and the creator of their first capsule collection. Each of the seven pieces in her collection are made in factories within the UK or Scotland and the material sourced to make the designs comes from fabric already in stock at mills located within the EU. The end result – less waste! Something we are all trying to be more conscious of as we learn more about our consumer choices.
Each of the seven pieces are designed with details and quality in mind. They can be worn with everything in your closet and also stand alone as a complete capsule wardrobe. Here is a really fantastic blog post highlighting 15 different ways to mix and match their pieces. The quality is absolutely beautiful, the material is soft and comfortable, and the cut is perfection. I felt like the pieces were made just for me. These pieces are built to stay in your wardrobe for the long haul. I love the amount of thought, detail, and love that went into the creation of each design.
Shirt | Cardigan | Jeans | T-Shirt | Wedges
I ordered the Short Sleeved Double Box Pleat Shirt and the Chunky Knit Longline Boyfriend Cardigan.
Let’s take a closer look at the shirt first!
The Essential White Shirt
The shirt is made of 100% cotton and has a slight sheen to it. I love the modern feel of the double box pleat in the back, the cuffs on the sleeves and the slightly longer length in the back of the shirt.
Shirt | Black Pants | Jeans (similar) | Flats | Cut Out Booties | Clutch | Sunglasses
Wonderful for a casual day, dressed up for the office, layered (or not), this shirt is designed to perfection and wears beautifully. It’s all in the details and this is a new modern take on a classic that feels instantly chic and pulled together.
I ordered a Small in my usual size and the fit is amazing! I styled it here with jeans as well as with an ankle black pant for work or an evening out.
Boyfriend Cardigan
Now for the cardigan. I love a good cardigan, they are cozy, warm, and comfortable. My love of cardigans started right after college when I began my first job in NYC. It was summer and so humid outside but the office was freezing. I always needed an extra layer to peel off or pile on between outside and inside. Years later when I moved to San Francisco, I rediscovered the layering skill. The microclimates in San Francisco are not a drill. One minute you’re cold, the next you’re warm, and the next you’re bundled back up. Layers are a MUST there and a learned skill if you did not grow up in the Bay Area. Layers have become part of my wardrobe. I love to have options and having practiced layering over the years, I think it is just part of my style now.
Cardigan | Keds (similar) | Winter Floral Dress (similar) | Belt | Sunglasses
This cardigan is great with jeans, pants for the office, or a dress. It has a slightly oversized fit to add an extra cozy vibe. I especially love the way the ribbed hem at the bottom comes in a little bit, ever so slightly for a hug. Another beautiful detail is that the seams are nonexistent. A special knitting method is used to create a seam free look for a lovely flow of the garment so it fits and wears perfectly.
The sweater is made of 100% Lambswool. I am very sensitive to textures on my skin and this sweater is soft and warm and an ideal layering staple for your wardrobe.
I’ve styled it here with jeans as well as belted over a dress for just a few ideas to get you started. I typically wear a Small and ordered the sweater in my usual size.

Staples are so important in our closets and h.huna’s pieces are here to stay.
