The holiday season has arrived! And I have three outfit options for you from a night out, to a casual lunch outing, to a cozy and comfortable movie or game night in. If you have been here a while, then you know that I actually choose my outfits beginning with which shoe I want to wear. I am pleased to provide you with these options inspired by one of my favorite shoe designers, Sarah Flint. If you are new to Sarah Flint, check out my prior post on why I love her shoes so much. If you or someone you know are ready to make your first purchase, you can use my exclusive discount to get $50 off your first pair with code SARAHFLINT-BALAURAY at checkout.

The first look is the most formal. I love a velvet detail in the winter and especially around the holidays. It gives that luxe, rich feeling and it’s soft and cozy as well. I love this midi dress paired with a sparkly necklace and gold pleated clutch. The shoes that served as the inspiration are the special holiday Filigree Perfect Pump. This is Sarah’s classic pump with a beautiful gold metal detail over the toe. I have these pumps in navy and love them. There is extra cushioning, a slightly wider toe box, and arch support.

Sarah Flint Natalie Flat in Gunmetal Lame with Red Plaid Shirt, Black Pants and Juliette Cardigan

Mad about plaid, or at least I am! I especially love the red plaid that feels so festive this time of year. This will work with any plaid shirt you have and it could be paired with black pants as it is here, jeans, corduroys, or leggings. I love to pair pearls or sparkles with plaid to counter the more casual feeling of the plaid, especially this one from J.Crew since it is a flannel material. Add a blazer or sweater to keep warm as a layering piece. The shoes are my newest treat to myself, the Natalie in Gunmetal Lame. They are so pretty and sparkly, but not over the top. I plan to wear them to every holiday and celebratory event that I can. I wrote another blog post completely devoted to my love of the Natalie shoe and you can read that here. I love how these shoes also add a bit of sparkle but I can still be incredibly comfortable in my flats and chase after my kids or new puppy!

Sarah Flint House Shoe Slipper with cashmere Summersalt loungewear

One of my favorite things during the winter is to feel cozy and comfortable in front of a fire with a good book, movie night, or family game night. Since the pandemic started, loungewear has really stepped up its game. So many retailers are now offering beautiful cashmere sweaters, joggers, and pants so you can feel just as chic at home in your casual loungewear. And the final shoe inspiration for these outfits goes to the house shoe slipper. I own them from last year with a different decorate detail and I LOVE them. Definitely my most worn shoe all winter long. This year’s version comes in 4 colorways, a decorative tassel detail, and a new improvement of a more solid sole that you can wear outside if needed to run and get the mail or head down to your child’s bus stop. The shearling inside is also so soft, I feel like I am walking on a cloud and they keep my feet warm all winter long. Highly recommend these slippers!!
