Announcing a Color Crush for Your Spring Wardrobe

If you’re like me, you’re itching for warm spring weather to arrive. To help you prepare, today’s post is all about a color for spring that I am thrilled to see as a trend….lavender! I happen to have a few lavender pieces that I will be happily mixing in as the temperatures creep out of the freezing mark which include a light cashmere sweater and also a pair of skinny jeans.

Lavender is lovely mixed with any basic shade (cream, white, black, and the list goes on), but it is also fantastic and very chic as a monochromatic outfit (think matching skirt and blouse in lavender). Lavender pieces work just as well at the office as they do on the weekends. Changing your jeans in for a skirt with your lavender sweater is a great way to take any piece from casual to work and get the most out of your wardrobe.

Tops

As I said above, a sweater or blouse is a great way to create versatility in your closet. A sweater can be worn casually on the weekend and still feel pulled together and also complement your favorite skirt or slacks for the office.

Pants and a Skirt

Another great way to add this soft and pretty color into your wardrobe is with pants, jeans, or a skirt. Try it with a lavender top for a chic monochromatic look.
