Confession time!
I wear this sweatshirt as often as possible from Athleta since the chill set in for cooler temps. It is warm enough to double as a light coat. The soft faux fur lining inside allows me to feel like I am wearing a soft blanket. It is incredibly cozy and since it is great for inside on a cold day, layered underneath a puffy coat, or as a standalone coat on a day that is not blustery cold, I have now justified to myself that I can wear it as often as I like. Glad we talked this through! ?
I love the neutral color, it comes in two colors currently (Light Grey Heather that I own and also Black Multi), as well as the thumb holds on the sleeves and the zip pockets. If I am on the go, I like to know that my keys, phone, or wallet are zipped safely away in my pocket and won’t accidentally fall out without me realizing it. The less I have to think about logistically these days, the better! The pockets also lay flat so there is no added bulk in fabric around the waist or hips so it stays fitted to your silhouette. I am not sure how many years Athleta has made this sweatshirt but my friend that introduced me to it has the one from last year and her sweatshirt has a slightly darker oatmeal coloring to it. As soon as i saw it, I knew it was a must have for my closet.
In addition to the soft, cozy factor the sweatshirt also has a collar between the body of the garment and the hood which keeps my neck warm and adds to that delightful blanket feel.
Faithful Booties
I can’t help but rave about my favorite booties that I was wearing that day as well from Joie. The color is the perfect neutral and the heel height is very comfortable at 1 ¾ inches, enough for a boost and none of the pain (at least for me!). I have been wearing mine for four years now and while they were a splurge, they were worth it and they are holding up really well!
